3rd Round: Fantasy Task!

Third Round at "SL Next Fashion Designer Challenge" organized by Model with Curves Fashion District.
First, the task for this week:

"SL ALLOWS US TO BE ANYTHING WE WANT TO BE, LIVE IN ANY FANTASY WE WISH, THIS TASK IS ALL ABOUT FANTASTY, YOUR JOB IS TO CREATE A OUTFIT FOR A FANTASY CHARACTER, I.E FAIRIES, NINJA ASSISIAN, VAMPIRE...GO AS WILD AS YOUR IMAGINATION CAN TAKE YOU."

And this is what I came out with:

The "Phoenix" is a mythical bird with a colorful plumage of gold and scarlet. It has a 500 to 1,000 year life-cycle, near the end of which it builds itself a nest of myrrh twigs that then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self.

Poulet's vision of this mythical bird is a complete outfit from head to toe. Including the flexi fire hair, sculpted wings and swirls in gold. Also a gleaming collar, bracelets and sculpted shinning prims along with flexi feathers and fire effects to complete this ensemble.

Sculpted and glowing fire embraces this outfit on the waist and feet. The skirt has the flowing effect as the phoenix's tail.

The sculpted sandals and shin guards gives the dramatic energy this mythical bird deserves.

Cleopatra "Queen of Queens"

2nd Round at "SL Next Fashion Designer Challenge"

To this day Cleopatra remains a popular figure in Western culture. Her legacy survives in numerous works of art and the many dramatizations of her story in literature and other media, including William Shakespeare's tragedy "Antony and Cleopatra", Jules Massenet's opera "Cléopâtre" and the 1963 film "Cleopatra". In most depictions, Cleopatra is put forward as a great beauty and her successive conquests of the world's most powerful men is taken to be proof of her aesthetic and sexual appeal.

Poulet has dressed Cleopatra with a luxurious outfit as a queen deserves. A top and skirt made of black dyed linen with a gold trim. The "Ankh" ,symbol of life, is part of the skirt and the top as well. The grandiose gold jewelry make this outfit stand out, the crown, bracelets, belt and collar are not valued only for its beauty and precious metals, but also for the magical and spiritual protection they represent.
This outfit is completed with leather sandals adorned with gold pieces and carved and glazed lapis lazuli scarabs wich represent ideas of transformation, renewal, and resurrection in ancient Egyptian religious art.
