It’s
time. Time for a new chapter.
PM
has been one heck of a ride. I don’t even know where to start.
If
10 years ago somebody would have told me I was going to be a
celebrity of sorts, that i was going to pay my bills out of pixel
creations, that I was going to be known and loved by many...
I
would have laughed really hard.
It
is still today that I find hard to understand what happened the last
few years but I do know I enjoyed every bit of it. I learned so many
things. I have learned to overcome envy and jealousy. I’ve learned
to stay humble despite the infinite amount of recognition and being
treated like an almost deity. I have learned to listen to the good
and not so good stuff.
I’ve
grown, I’ve evolved and adapted.
I
haven’t reached my limit, there is not such a thing as the end.
Though,
this is not where my heart is anymore.
It
took me a long time to figure this out and I deeply apologize for
having you waiting. This is a hard decision. Who would want to go
back to the “normal” life? Back to the everyday me, where only my
family, friends and neighbours know me?
I
do.
This
is where my heart is right now. Building a real life career and
helping my daughter grow. She is so young and growing so fast I don't
want to miss it. My job is stressful and by far not as rewarding as
being a fashion designer in SL but it’s building a future for my
girl. At least, I think it will.
Nothing
is forever. I don’t believe in always or never. Right now is what
counts, and this is where I choose to be.
I
don’t think of it as the end of PurpleMoon, it’s about closing a
chapter and opening a new one. PurpleMoon and the people who made it
possible stay in me. I’ve got a father for my daughter, Martin414
Timeless, and three amazing sisters, SilverMoon Indigo, Rie
Silverfall and Belladonna Wexhome. You all pushed me, supported me,
heard me cry and laugh, stayed unconditionally by my side. I couldn't
have asked for more. Thank you.
And YOU ladies. You have taught me about love and loyalty in a way that I had no idea it was possible. Thank you.
I
will not say good bye, I’ll say “see you on the next one!”

Let’s close this chapter with a bang. All items in store are being offered for L$50. Everything is included but a few pieces I kept for myself and others that are too old to my liking. Spend the store credit you have left and grab your favorite keepsakes!
I don't have an end date for the sale yet, I estimate a little over a month. I will be tracking the store credit stats to be sure most people get to spend what they have accumulated.
Also I have a couple of unfinished goodies that I am trying to wrap up as gifts, I'll keep you posted.
